Settings
Everything that doesn't fit under Calendar, Services, Team, or Availability lives here - look and feel, language, currency, staff permissions, and your account.
01Branding
Upload a logo (PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG, up to 4MB) and set your brand color (buttons and highlights) and background color (pages and emails). These show up in email notifications and on the manage-appointment page your clients see.
02Language
Serbian or English - changes the language of your own dashboard, the client portal, and the emails BookSwift sends on your behalf.
The staff portal, client portal, manage-appointment page, and printable price list are currently always in Serbian, regardless of this setting. If you're running an English-language business, keep this in mind - your own dashboard and email notifications WILL be in English, but those four pages stay Serbian.
03Currency
RSD, USD, EUR, or AUD - controls how prices are displayed across your dashboard, to clients, and in emails. It doesn't automatically convert your existing prices (change currency and the numbers stay the same, just labeled differently) - but it does determine what currency Stripe actually charges in, if you have online payments enabled (see the Payments guide).
04Booking settings
Appointment interval (how many minutes apart open slots are - e.g. 15 or 30 min) and minimum lead time (blocks booking an appointment starting sooner than that). This is also where the "Allow clients to create an account" toggle lives - turning it off immediately disables the client portal, even for clients already logged in.
A separate "Free cancellation window" controls how close to an appointment a client can still cancel or reschedule it themselves - independent from the minimum lead time, which only applies to booking a NEW appointment. You can also turn off self-cancellation entirely for a specific service, regardless of this window - see the Services guide.
05Staff permissions
Four toggles that control what team members can do on their own staff portal: change their own working hours, add/remove their own breaks, manually add appointments, and whether they get emailed about new/cancelled/rescheduled appointments. All four are off by default for a new business.
06Payments
If your business is approved for online payments, a card for connecting to Stripe appears here.
This is turned on by NRT - you can't self-activate it from Settings. If the card is missing, that's why - contact us if you'd like to accept online payments through BookSwift.
07Change password
Enter your current and new password (minimum 8 characters). This is also where you see your basic account details - business name, username, and contact email (changed through support, not self-service).
