Account & subscription

What signing up for BookSwift looks like, paying the monthly subscription, and what happens if it lapses or gets cancelled.

01Signing up for BookSwift

On the signup page you enter your business name, booking-page address (slug), a login username, and a contact email, then continue to Stripe to pay the subscription.

Your account isn't created until payment actually goes through - if you back out on the Stripe page, nothing was created and you can try again anytime.

02After you pay

After a successful payment, the page waits briefly (usually a couple of seconds) while your account is created in the background, then automatically takes you to the invite page where you set your password. If that takes longer than expected for some reason, you'll be told to check your email instead - the payment already went through, the page was just impatient.

Once you set your password, you're logged straight into your new dashboard, ready to set up services and working hours.

03If your subscription lapses

If a payment fails or you cancel the subscription through Stripe, your BookSwift account is automatically paused - meaning every public link goes dark at once: your booking page, client portal, staff portal, and any outstanding invites. This happens automatically, not just as a dashboard warning.

There's currently no button in the dashboard to self-manage your subscription (change card, cancel, etc) - for any of that, email us at info@book-swift.com.
